So convenient to family in Pocket-Greenhaven

My son used to live near the airport, where hotels were abundant, but now that he lives in Pocket-Greenhaven, the Red Door Suite is our go-to place to stay. Walking distance to some food/coffee and grocery options, close to bike/walking trail to the river. Next time, I'm going to borrow my son's bike. Wes is a great host. Two adults stayed in August 2025 and I came by myself in March 2026.

Just what we needed

Last minute booking, was perfect clean accomodations for myself and my daughter. I took advantage of the in room coffee station.

A Cozy Gem in a Great Location

We absolutely loved our stay at Tomatoes Suite! We stayed for one night and the place was cute, cozy, and instantly felt like home. Everything was spotless, check-in was a breeze, and it had all the amenities we needed. The bed was super comfy—slept like a dream! Wes was an awesome host, and the location was perfect, close to stores, downtown, and the freeway. We’ll definitely be back again—highly recommend! 🍅✨

Just like coming home

While the place is small, it's' perfect for our needs. Clean and comfortable and in a great location. Close enough to do walking along the river and close enough to restaurants and the grocery store. Plus the freeway is close by but far enough that you don't hear the noise. Wes is just like the friendly neighbor next door. Always there for help or some light conversation. The Red Door is now our go-to spot whenever we visit our family members in our former Sacramento hometown.

Wonderful host for a clean and quiet retreat

The host couldn't have been more helpful or understanding during our stay. We were in town for a family emergency and he treated us like family. Everything was clean, quiet and the supplies were fully stocked. We will certainly be staying here again!

Thoughtful host offered personalized amenities

Wes was very hospitable. He met us there and showed us around the unit. Perfect size for our 5 day stay. No kitchen but coffee maker and hot water maker plus a small refrigerator and microwave machine met all our needs. Wes was so gracious that he purchased a 6-pack of IPA as he discovered that is my drink of choice. He also bought dark roast coffee beans for my wife. There is a large bottle of filtered water which we used up and he refilled it on request. The bed is really comfortable and there are plenty of USB ports and outlets around. The medicine cabinet is stocked with emergency supplies, which I’ve never seen elsewhere. All in all, we truly enjoyed staying at the Red Door.
